Climate Change: new temperature records and more violent storms

The planet has been heating and advancing temperatures at the rate of four bombs the size of the one dropped on Hiroshima each second, and its all man kinds fault, say scientists and atmosphere researchers.

Tropical storm Katrina and super storm Sandy are only two cases of how amazing climate change can and will strengthen.

People are emanating more carbon dioxide (CO2e) into the environment than at any possible time throughout history, says John Cook, Climate Communication Fellow from the Global Change Institute at the University of Queensland.

"All these high temperature trapping nursery gases in our environment mean ... our planet has been advancing high temperature at the rate of something like four Hiroshima bombs each second -recognize that going enduringly for some decades."

In a discourse on extreme climate in Sydney on Saturday, Mr Cook said something like 90 percent of global warming of an Earth-wide temperature boost was going into the oceans, which act like a characteristic thermometer in addition to updates in area, ice, and animal species.

Distributions of trees are shifting towards cooler areas such as the poles or mountains, and animal species are responding to global warming by mating earlier in the year.

"This isn't on the grounds that creatures are getting randier, this is in light of the fact that the times of year themselves are moving," Mr Cook said.

Mr Cook said for as long as two decades, 97 percent of researchers and scientists have been in agreement that human action is initiating these hotter temperatures and hence climate changes.

The simplest way to combat climate change is to plant trees: Trees breathe in Carbon Di Oxide and through the process of photo-synthesis create food for themselves and breathe out Oxygen.

At Sustainable Green Initiative, we plant trees to help the fight against climate change and also hunger, poverty and rural migration.  By planting a tree through us, you help in doing your bit to mitigate your carbon footprint and carry on the fight against hunger, poverty and climate change.

Planting fruit trees helps combat hunger, poverty and global warming.

Did you know a tree sequesters about 1 ton of carbon and processes enough oxygen for two peoples requirements in its life-time?
