Plant a fruit tree at Udayan for children, Barackpore, West Bengal, India
SGI invites you to plant 1,000 Trees at Udayan, Barackpore. See map
Over
the coming month we encourage you to help and support this initiative in
creating a green pocket of 1,000 Fruit Trees at Udayan, a residential centre
for the rehabilitation of leprosy patients’ children founded by Revd. J.G.Stevens.
Join
us to sponsor, gift and physically be with us and plant a sapling of either
Papaya, Mango, Banana, Sweet Lime, Custard Apple, Sapota (Chiku) or Gooseberry
(Amla) on the premises.
Your tree will be geo-tagged and imaged on our website where you can ascertain their location on online mapping technology (Google Earth) and receive updates on your trees growth. You will receive all the links to your tree, map and page within 4-6 weeks.
The produce obtained from these trees will aid in the upkeep and support of the children at Udayan while providing them a more cleaner, healthier and beautiful environment to be a part of. For more details on [http://udayan.org/] Udayan
Looking forward to having your support in yet another green initiative.
